  1. Hi Phil,

this is an absolutely amazing trip, I am very proud of you! It looks like you are heading for some very long, very exhausting days and a bit of 'ouch', but it sounds equally exciting and rewarding - good on you! I am sure you will manage very well, knowing how very committed you are.

I hope you enjoy every day of your ride. I hope you are surrounded by nice team mates, great scenery and delicious food, and of course that occasional drop of fine French grape produce.

I will be watching this spot.

Have a fantastic trip! I am sure Lisa, young Harper and the rest of the family will follow your every move (well, almost).

    Vive le velo! Susanna

  2. Hope the black ice ACT roads have helped you prepare for the sweltering heat of the French Alps. Have great time and enjoy what could be one of the greatest Tour De France's ever. Try not to show up Cadel with your climbing ability.

    Regards

    Mick

P.S. Pink Floyd makes for really great motivation music for mountain climbs. Shine on you crazy diamond !!!!
